Pursuant to La. R.S. 22:1794 all viatical settlement contracts and advertisements used in Louisiana must be submitted to and approved by the LDI. These filings should be made using the System for Electronic Rates and Forms Filing (SERFF). The Product Filing Matrix contains information which a licensee may find helpful in preparing forms in compliance with the statutory requirements in Louisiana.
