Student Tuition Assistance Revenue Trust Program - It is an innovative college
savings plan designed to help families contend with the future high cost of their
children's postsecondary education. The program is administered by the Office of
Student Financial Assistance under the direction of the Louisiana Tuition Trust
Authority, which is a public body composed of representatives from the state's higher
education governing boards. State Treasurer John Kennedy and a member of the House
of Representatives and State Senate also sit on the LATTA Board.
